Access & Directions

From Shizuoka Station, take a regular bus of Shizutetsu Just Line on the Abe Line (bound for Umegashima Onsen) and get off at the terminal Umegashima Onsen. By car: Exit Shinntomei Shin-Shizuoka Interchange and head north on a straight road; it is at the end of Prefectural Route 29 (about 36 km, about 55 minutes from the interchange). If coming via Tomei Shizuoka Interchange, drive via the area in front of Shizuoka Station (about 46 km, about 1 hour 10 minutes).

Baikunrou-no-Yu is available for bathing 24 hours, except that daily from 9:30 for several hours it is used for cleaning and hot spring water replacement. Day-use plans with private lunch are available. Day-use bathing packs are from 11:00 to 14:30 (bathing allowed until 14:15).
