By train/bus: Get off at JR Agatsuma Line "NaganoHara Kusatsuguchi" Station, then take JR Bus to "Kusatsu Onsen" for about 25 minutes, and walk 5 minutes from "Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal." From JR "Karuizawa" Station, take a bus to "Kusatsu Onsen" for about 80 minutes, then walk about 10 minutes from "Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal." By car: About 90 minutes (56.0 km) from Shibukawa Ikaho IC on the Kan-Etsu Expressway via the Kan-Etsu and Shin-Etsu Expressways; about 80 minutes (52.9 km) from Usui Karuizawa IC; about 70 minutes (48.9 km) from Ueda Sugina Ihei IC.
