Access & Directions

By train: Take a bus from JR Agatsuma Line “Naganohara Kusatsuguchi” to “Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal,” then walk about 10 minutes. By car: From Tokyo area, use the Kan-Etsu Expressway “Shibukawa Ikaho IC,” then national routes 17, 353, and 145 via Naganohara (Otsu), then continue on Route 292 toward Kusatsu (about 20 minutes). From Aichi area, use the Shin-Etsu Expressway “Ueda Sugairme IC,” then National Route 144 via Naganohara (Otsu), then continue on Route 292 toward Kusatsu (about 20 minutes).
