Access & Directions

Get off at Shin-Hanamaki Station on the Tohoku Shinkansen. Free shuttle bus available (West Exit). From Sendai-Miyagi IC on the Tohoku Expressway toward Morioka, then Hanamaki Minami IC, and follow Prefectural Route Hanamaki Omagari toward Sawaunai-mura; the entrance is 16 km from the IC.

From 13:30–14:00 the noren is exchanged (men/women swap), so bathing is not available. Sauna: 15:00–. Private bath "Chappun": 10:00 start, last start 17:00. Stone spa "Stone Spa": 16:00 start, last start 18:00. Esthetic salon: Weekdays 16:00–23:30; Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays 16:00–24:00. Shop "Hakanzashi": 7:30–11:00 / 14:00–18:00 / 19:30–21:30.
