Access & Directions

From JR Joban Line Tsuchiura Station (West Exit), take bus from stop No. 6 bound for Kanda Station or Kyodo Hospital. Get off at Manabe Shinmachi, then walk 2 minutes. Note: some buses may pass certain stops, so confirm the stop list when boarding. By car (Tokyo direction): Take the local road from the side road before the 'Haranomae' intersection on Route 6, turn right at the intersection, then turn left at the intersection just beyond 'Nakamura Riku-bashi' (underpass area). After about 2.5 km, turn right at the 'Citizen Hall Entrance' intersection, go straight about 800 m and the facility is on the right. By car (Mito direction): Enter the side road near the 'Naka-kan Industrial Park Entrance' intersection on Route 6 to the left, then turn left at the 'Citizen Hall Entrance' intersection after about 3 km. Go straight about 800 m and the facility is on the right. From the Joban Expressway: From Sakura Tsuchiura IC, continue on Route 354 toward Tsuchiura/Kasumigaura for about 1.6 km, turn left at the intersection beyond 'Nakamura Riku-bashi', then turn right at the 'Citizen Hall Entrance' intersection, go straight about 800 m and it will be on the right. From Tsuchiura Kita IC, continue toward Tsuchiura/Kasumigaura straight for about 1.5 km, take the left drop-off on the main line before the overpass to 'Wakamatsu-cho' intersection (turn right), then proceed on Route 125 for about 1.5 km and turn left at the 'Citizen Hall Entrance' intersection; go straight about 800 m and the facility is on the right.
